A method for determining the distribution of carbon nanotubes in nanocomposites by electric conductivity

چکیده
Carbon nanotube (CNT) polymer nanocomposites are one of the most promising materials due to their remarkable mechanical properties as well electrical conductivity, which offers capability monitoring deformation and damage composite structures by measuring related conductivity variations. However, quantifying distribution CNTs inside material remains a challenge with respects both experimental numerical works. In current study, was used determine microstructure CNT-reinforced polymer. By introducing modified parameter polar angle CNTs, change respect can be replicated. After validation data from multi-walled CNT/polymer under tensile loading, method then studied for composites various weight fractions nanotubes.
